Following on from my email on Wednesday, I just wanted to give you all an update regarding Areas that fall under Tier 2. As you can appreciate the Guidelines at times isn't always clear and can be contradictory. After further conversations and clarity I am pleased to let you all know the following:

Tier 1:

  • Organised Indoor Sport, Physical Activity & Exercise Classes can continue to take place in Groups of up to 6 people (or larger groups if all from the same household or support bubble) Other organised Indoor Sport, including indoor exercise classes, personal training and sport coaching, can continue to take place with larger numbers present provided that participants are in separate groups of up to 6 people which do not mist with other Groups.
  • Organised Outdoor Sport, Physical Activity & Exercise Classes can continue.

Therefore Karate Classes may continue in the Dojo, for both Children & Adults, but students should not mix with one another and follow strict Social Distancing rules.

Outdoor Training can continue with higher numbers but obviously considering the time of the year and weather conditions - this is unlikely to be practical.

Tier 2:

This is for Areas with a Higher or Rapidly Rising Level of Infections, where some additional Restrictions need to be in place.

  • Organised Indoor Sport (Including Team and Individual Sport, Personal Training & Exercise Classes) can only take place where there is no mixing between households. This means that people from the same household or support bubble can take part in Sport or Physical Activity together. Individuals or separate households (or Support Bubbles) can participate in a Single Indoor Sport Activity if they can stay separate and distance from those from other households, and avoid physical contact and proximity (whether deliberate or inadvertent)
  • Organised Outdoor Sport,Physical Activity & Exercise Classes can continue.

Therefore Karate Classes may continue in the Dojo, for both Children & Adults - but students should not mix with one another and follow strict Social Distancing rules.

Outdoor Training can continue with higher numbers but obviously considering the time of the year and weather conditions - this is unlikely to be practical.

Tier 3:

There are no changes to Tier 3 Areas, since my update on Wednesday. Strictly under 18 years only and no Adults.

I will continue to update you all as and when there are any significant changes to share. Thank you once again for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
