52nd SKIF-GB National Championships – Nottingham Wildcats Arena

Please be aware that the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon is taking place on Sunday 27th September, the same day as the 52nd SKIF-GB National Championships.

This is a major event in Nottingham and there will be a number of road closures and traffic restrictions in and around the city throughout the day.

πŸƒ The main race starts at 09:30, with road closures affecting various routes across Nottingham.

As we have clubs, officials and competitors travelling to the Championships from all over the UK, we particularly want to highlight that journeys into Nottingham from Junction 24 (A453) of the M1 coming into West Bridgford and Junction 25 (A52) coming into Wollaton, Priory Island and University Boulevard that will be effected with road closures and diversions. Junction 26 shouldn’t be affected, especially if you come along the A610 and the A6514 Ring Road.

We strongly recommend that everyone:

πŸš— Plans their journey in advance
⏰ Allows plenty of additional travelling time
πŸ—ΊοΈ Checks the road closures and affected routes before setting off
πŸ“ Allows extra time to reach Nottingham Wildcats Arena

Please do not rely on your normal journey time into Nottingham, as diversions and increased traffic may cause delays.

πŸ”— Road Closures & Affected Routes:

Please can you let students and families in your club know who will be travelling. We want everyone to arrive safely and in plenty of time for the tournament, so please plan ahead and give yourself more time than you would normally allow for your journey to Wildcats.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Nottingham for the 52nd SKIF-GB National Championships.

Thanks

Kumi
