Happy Halloween from Kyōtō! 🎃🥋

Tis the night where, if you venture into the fields around Bristol and beneath the Kyōtō full moon, you might be fortunate enough to witness a very rare sight indeed…

 

As darkness falls and the mist rolls across the countryside, local reports suggest that the scarecrows leave their posts for a few hours and gather to practise their karate skills. Under the watchful glow of the Kyōtō moon, they can allegedly be seen perfecting their stances, refining their kicks, and working on their tai sabaki before returning to the fields before dawn.

 

While we cannot officially confirm these sightings, several pumpkins have reported hearing enthusiastic cries of “Oss!”echoing across the fields late into the night.

 

Whether you’re training, trick-or-treating, or simply enjoying the Halloween festivities, everyone at Kyōtō Shotokan Karate Dōjō wishes you a safe, enjoyable, and slightly spooky Halloween.

 

Just remember… if you do happen to spot two scarecrows sparring under the moonlight, it’s probably best not to interrupt their training session.
