SKIF-GB New Years Course with Sensei Aragane

Due to venue availability issues, the Wales & Southwest Regional Squad sessions scheduled for May and June 2026 have been cancelled. We are investigating alternative arrangements and will notify members if replacement dates can be secured.

SKIF-GB New Year course with Aragane Sensei

A Cold Start, Strong Training, and a Proper Finish
Sensei Steve recently travelled to Cleethorpes to take part in the annual Kangeiko hosted by Kaizen No-Michi, a Japan Karate Shotorenmei (JKS) club based in Cleethorpes & Grimsby.

Kyōtō Shotokan Karate Dō are proud to announce that Sharon Joseph has been selected to represent SKIF-GB at the 15th SKIF World Championships in Antalya, Turkey, in November 2026. Sharon earned selection following strong performances at National Championships and Regional Squad training sessions, continuing the growing success of the Wales & Southwest Region.

As Kyōtō Shotokan Karate Dōjō enters its 30th anniversary year, we are pleased to confirm our continued affiliation with SKIF-GB for 2026. The affiliation provides students with access to nationally recognised gradings, championships, regional squad training and opportunities to train within one of the world’s leading traditional Shotokan karate organisations.
